Spinach Bread Bisquick

  • 1 each spinach, frozen package, thawed, drained well
  • 1 cup Bisquick
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 each egg
  • 1 tablespoon onion, chopped
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, cubed
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated


  1. Grease small loaf pan.
  2. Mix all of the above ingredients together by hand.
  3. Pour into loaf pan.
  4. Bake about 30-45 minutes at 350 degrees.

Can be served hot or cold.

Seascape Pumpkin Bread

  • 3 1/2 c All-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp Pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 tbsp Soda 1 c Cooking oil
  • 1 tbsp Salt 4 Eggs
  • 1/2 tbsp Baking powder 1 16-oz can pumpkin
  • 3 c Sugar 1/2 c Chopped walnuts
  • 1 tbsp Cinnamon 1/4 c Water


  1. In a large mixing bowl combine the flour, soda, salt, baking powder, sugar, cinnamon, and pumpkin pie spice.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix by hand the oil, eggs, pumpkin, walnuts, and water.
  3. Combine with the dry ingredients. Bake in a loaf pan in a 350 oven for 1 hour.

  • 3 eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 6-7 Walnuts
  • 2 cups ripe figs, mashed
  • 3/4 cup peanut oil
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup chopped pecans


  1. Beat eggs, add sugar and beat well. Add fig puree and oil. Sift together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  2. Add the fig mixture alternately with the buttermilk. Beat well. Fold in pecans.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour in greased and floured loaf pans.

Makes 3 loaves.

  • 2 cups biscuit baking mix
  • 1 (8 1/2 ounce) can cream-style corn
  • 3 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted


  1. In a bowl, combine biscuit mix and corn until mixture forms a ball.
  2. Turn onto a lightly floured surface and knead 10-12 times.
  3. Pat into a 10 x 6-inch rectangle. Cut into 3 x 1-inch strips roll in butter.
  4. Place in a greased 15 x 10 x 1-inch baking pan.
  5. Bake at 450 degrees F for 12-14 minutes or golden brown.
